Dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) is an optical multiplexing technology used to increase bandwidth over existing fiber networks. DWDM works by combining and transmitting multiple signals simultaneously at different wavelengths on the same fiber. This technique enables bidirectional communications over one strand of fiber, as well as multiplication of capacity.

The channel spacing of DWDM is 0.4 nm (50GHz), 0.8 nm (100GHz), or 1.6 nm (200GHz). Among them, 100GHz from C17 to C61 is most widely used for conventional equipments. 50GHz from C17 to H61 is applied in high rate channel devices.

In DWDM systems, cooled and temperature tuned DFB lasers are used.

Fiberwe manufactures a complete line of DWDM products, such as 100GHz, 200GHz, 1x2 DWDM Device, 4 Channel, 8 Channel, 16 Channel, 18 Channel ... DWDM modules, OADM modules, either in 1U Rackmount or LGX Box. All DWDM products are with high quality and a low offered price.
