Coarse wavelength-division multiplexing (CWDM) is a technology which uses 18 channels with wavelengths between 1270 nm and 1610 nm to transmit multiple signals onto single optical fiber. This technique enables bidirectional communications over one strand of fiber, as well as multiplication of capacity.

The channel spacing of CWDM is 20 nm. In CWDM systems, uncooled and directly modulated DFB lasers are used, so CWDM is a cost-effective solution.

Fiberwe manufactures a full range of CWDM products, such as 1x2 CWDM Device, 4 Channel, 8 Channel, 16 Channel, 18 Channel, Compact CWDM (CCWDM) modules, etc. with high quality and a low offered price.
